Welcome to Intro

Intro is an innovative, casually upscale restaurant located in Lincoln Park. Led by Executive Chef Stephen Gillanders, Intro offers an a la carte menu while also introducing up-and-coming talent from around the country to Chicago. Visiting chefs, mixologists and other culinary professionals work in full collaboration with Chef Gillanders to create the best menu possible.  Designed to evolve, anything can happen at Intro.


Chef Gillanders Welcomes Jonah Reider of Pith to Intro

  Beginning Thursday, September 15. Intro welcomes Jonah Reider, of New York City’s Pith, to Chicago for a limited one-month engagement at Intro. Reider—a cook, event curator and entrepreneur who opened his own restaurant out of his dorm room at Columbia University—has a refined cooking style that is improvisational, highly seasonal and eclectic in influence. Guests have two ways to enjoy Reider’s cuisine.
